Obituary for Cecile D. Beauchemin

Moosup – Cecile D. Beauchemin, 71, of Moosup, passed away on April 29, 2019 at the Plainfield Emergency Care Center.

She was born on March 13, 1948 in the family residence in Moosup, CT. A daughter to the late Jeannette (Rondeau) and Leonard O. Beauchemin.

Cecile was a LPN for over 42 years working at Day Kimball Hospital within the medical surgical unit. She was a woman of strong faith. She was a longtime member of the All Hallows Parish Council and a 25-year member of the Spirit of Love Prayer Group. She enjoyed raising animals and knitting belonging to the Interfaith Stitches group.

Cecile is survived by her sisters Amelia Moore, Lorraine Largess, Rachel Fraleigh ,Jeanne McNally and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at All Hallows Church in Moosup on Thursday May 2nd at 10:00AM. Interment will follow within All Hallows Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4:00-7:00PM on Wednesday May 1, 2019 at Dougherty Brothers Funeral Home 595 Norwich Road Plainfield, CT.
