Obituary for Diane L. Matteau

Diane L. Matteau, 84, beloved wife of Clement L. Matteau passed away November 13, 2018. She was born December 27, 1933 in Scotland a daughter of the late Donat and Anita (Gauthier) Salois and was a lifelong resident of the Plainfield Community. Mrs. Matteau had been employed with her husband in the operation of Matteau Realty. She was active in St. John Church, the Ladies of Fatima Guild and the Haitian Ministry. Besides her husband she leaves 3 sons Richard (Donna) Matteau and Gary (Sherry) Matteau and Robert Matteau; a daughter Lorie (Clint) Chartier; a brother Gerard Salois and a sister Claire Veilleux; 8 grandchildren Leo, Amanda, Tyler, Jared, Travis, Hannah, Rebekah and Olivia; 5 great grandchildren Zachary, Jaceon, Trenten , Kadin and Clementine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday (11-19-18) at 10:00AM in St. John the Apostle Church. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Sunday 1-4PM at Dougherty Bros. Funeral Home 595 Norwich Rd. Plainfield. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 381-9908.
