Obituary for Shane Daniel Currier

Sterling – Shane Daniel Currier, 21, of Sterling passed away on May 4, 2019 as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Plainfield CT.

He was born in Warwick, RI a son to Tami M. (Centolella) and Daniel Bradley Currier.

Shane was a graduate of Plainfield H.S. and attended Eastern CT State University. He worked at Foster C.C. and Home Depot. He enjoyed so many sports related activities that included fishing, playing baseball, basketball, snowboarding and golfing at Foster Country Club. He shared all of these with his father, brother and friends.

In addition to his parents, Shane is survived by his brother Joshua Currier and wife Jenna (Brown) along with many loving family members.

He loved attending concerts and live music at small venues. Shane was an avid music lover of all types ... anywhere from Mushroomhead, DaDa, Tesla, Alt J, In Flames, Peter Tosh, ScHool Boy Q, even Johnny Cash and the Beatles.

Anyone who came in contact with Shane would recognize his extraordinary smile accented by his striking blue eyes.

Shane was blessed with an easy going, laid back personality. However, it was coupled with a sharp, witty dry sense of humor that was shared only with his close friends and family.

Funeral arrangements will be private and are entrusted to the care of Dougherty Brothers Funeral Home 595 Norwich Road, Plainfield, CT. www.doughertybrosfuneralhome.com
